Brevenity
(adj. Brevene)
Suffering caused by the transient nature of an immediate and desired situation. An example might be: if two people in an ‘unrequited love’ scenario are sitting next to one another. For the pursuer, this is a sought after arrangement, yet it is not likely to last.
"The radio at the front of the bus suddenly went dead, and I experienced a feeling of brevenity as one of the passengers volunteered to fix it."
